The cause for this was some bad prescription to give him calcium in his childhood. We don't find'it until a week ago and his doctor tell us that is nothing he can do about that. I can't believe this and I'll very much like to find a treatement or a cure for his condition. We leave in Romania, but I've see it that in other country treatements are done. Can you please help me with a sugestion about how can I reduce the desease evolution? I also think that he has from time to time some paine to his back, becose he had muscular spasm on his back foots. Maybe I can treat him at list for this paine
I am afraid that your veterinarian has absolute right opinion. Depositum of calcium of aging dogs is the reason of inpropriate food when young and genes. There is no drug which can decrease calcium depositum. There are only two possibilities:
1. surgery, which is very complexe, expensive and in most cases causes even more damage.
2. pain drugs, can be really helpfull to decrease pain for the rest of life.
